Tom Mason
Co-Founder | Lead Ghost Guru
Tom Mason is the Co-Founder and resident Ghost Guide Guru of Breckenridge Ghost Guides—a title he gave himself because “Vice President of Things That Go Bump in the Night” wouldn’t fit on the business card.
Equal parts history nerd, storyteller, and professional troublemaker, Tom has a knack for digging up Breckenridge’s colorful past—and occasionally the people who apparently refuse to stay buried in it.
As one of the masterminds behind Breckenridge Ghost Guides, Tom helps turn local history, legendary hauntings, and a healthy dose of questionable decision-making into a ghost tour where you never quite know what’s waiting around the next corner.
When he’s not guiding brave souls through the darker side of Breckenridge, Tom can usually be found researching the next great story, perfecting a terrible ghost joke, or reminding everyone that running is absolutely an acceptable response to paranormal activity.
His philosophy: Respect the history. Tell a great story. Have some fun. And whatever you do… don’t be the slowest person in the group.
Seth Konkel
Co-Founder | Marketing & Operations Genius
Seth Konkel is the Co-Founder and self-proclaimed Marketing & Operations Genius behind Breckenridge Ghost Guides—a title that sounds considerably more impressive than “Guy Who Makes Sure the Ghost Tour Actually Happens.”
Equal parts entrepreneur, marketing guy, logistics wrangler, and professional overthinker, Seth handles much of what happens behind the scenes—from building the brand and plotting the guest experience to asking important operational questions like, “What could possibly go wrong?” and then creating a procedure for it.
As one of the masterminds behind Breckenridge Ghost Guides, Seth believes history doesn’t have to feel like homework. His mission is to make Breckenridge’s darker past entertaining, unexpected, interactive, and just creepy enough that you’ll reconsider walking back to your hotel alone.
When he’s not dreaming up new ways to market ghosts who have been dead for 100+ years, Seth can usually be found tweaking something that was already perfectly fine, coming up with another “great idea,” or reminding everyone that technically, the ghosts are independent contractors.
His philosophy: Make it fun. Make it memorable. Keep it organized. And if something unexplained happens… find a way to put it in the marketing.
Queen Kora
Chief Ghost Guard
(AKA – The BOSS)
Kora is the official Chief Ghost Guard of Breckenridge Ghost Guides—a highly specialized position requiring keen senses, unwavering bravery, and the ability to bark at absolutely nothing for reasons known only to her.
As the four-legged member of the team, Kora takes her paranormal security responsibilities very seriously. Suspicious noise? Investigated. Mysterious shadow? Monitored. Ghost lurking nearby? Probably detected. Squirrel across the street? CODE RED.
Kora’s primary responsibility is protecting the Breckenridge Ghost Guides crew from unwanted supernatural visitors. So far, her record is impeccable. Not a single team member has been possessed on her watch. Coincidence? We think not.
When she’s off duty, Kora enjoys treats, naps, belly rubs, patrolling for squirrels, and staring intensely into empty corners—which is significantly less adorable now that we run a ghost tour company.
Her philosophy: Trust your nose. Protect your humans. Demand treats. And remember… sometimes there really IS something behind you.
